Amy Miller is an experienced library professional whose work is built on curiosity and deep love of collections.  She is passionate about preserving records and increasing access through metadata and digitization. Amy received both her Master in Library and Information Science and Advanced Certificate in Library and Information Science from the University at Buffalo. 

Before founding Bridge & Case, Amy worked as the Assistant Librarian at The Buffalo History Museum for eight years.  There, she was responsible for the processing of archival collections, arrangement and description, metadata, and reference assistance while also serving as the sole cataloger. Her prior professional experience includes working in academic libraries and assisting local municipalities and organizations with records management. 

In addition to authoring various finding aids, her work has been featured in The Indexer JournalBuffalo’s Delaware Avenue: Mansions and Families: Second Edition with Index, and the Student Research Journal of San Jose State University. Amy is a member of the Western New York Library Resource Council (WNYLRC) and previously served on its Preservation Committee.  In 2017, she was the Local Arrangements Committee Co-Chair for the Mid-Atlantic Region Archives Conference (MARAC).
